Gifts for Hunters 2026
Shopping for a hunter is tricky. They already own the expensive stuff, they're picky about the rest, and a lot of "hunter gifts" end up in a closet. So this list sticks to things that actually get used in a stand, a blind or a truck: warm hands, dry feet, a good light, hot coffee and a little support for the habitat that keeps hunting going. Every pick is $50 or less, prices were checked on October 27, 2026.
We're a small, first responder-owned brand from the South, and we picked these the way we'd shop for our own deer camp. A few of the picks are ours. Most aren't.

Stocking Stuffers Under $25
1. Federal Duck Stamp, $25
This is the best $25 gift on the list for a waterfowler. Anyone 16 or older needs a current Federal Duck Stamp to hunt ducks and geese, and the 2026–27 Bufflehead stamp is good through June 30, 2027, according to the USPS Postal Store. It's also a conservation gift: the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says more than 98% of duck stamp money goes to buying or leasing wetland habitat for the National Wildlife Refuge System. If you're not sure your hunter already bought one, buy the souvenir sheet. It's a collectible either way.
2. Sawyer Permethrin Fabric Treatment, $18.49
Anyone who hunts the South in October knows the ticks don't quit when deer season opens. Sawyer Permethrin is sprayed on clothing and gear, not skin, and it repels or kills ticks, mosquitoes and dozens of other bugs. It's odorless once it dries, which matters to a deer hunter. Read the label before using it.
3. Hunt One More decals, $5
Every hunter has a truck window, a cooler or a gun safe that needs a sticker. Our American flag, turkey and logo decals are $5 each, so you can grab a few for the whole hunting crew.
Practical Gear Under $40
4. Petzl Tikka headlamp, $34.95
Most hunts start and end in the dark. The Petzl Tikka is small, simple and has a red light mode that's easier on night vision during the walk in. It runs on AAA batteries, so it's easy to keep spares in a pack.
5. HotHands hand warmers, 40 pairs, $32.99
Nobody ever complained about getting too many hand warmers. A 40-pair box of HotHands lasts most of a season, and each pair runs up to 10 hours. Wirecutter picked HotHands as its best hand warmer for using inside a glove.
6. Darn Tough hunting boot socks, $28–$32
Cold feet end hunts early. Darn Tough makes merino wool boot socks built for hunting: the lightweight pair is $28 for early season and the heavyweight pair is $32 for late December sits. They come with a lifetime guarantee, so this is one gift that won't wear out.
7. Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle, 1.1 qt, $36
The green Stanley has been riding in deer camp trucks for generations. The 1.1-quart Classic Legendary Bottle keeps coffee hot for about a day and the lid doubles as a cup.
8. Primos Hardwood Grunter, $29.99
A grunt call is one of the cheapest ways to pull a buck in during the rut. The Primos Hardwood Grunter is an adjustable call, so one call covers several buck and doe sounds. Pair it with our Southeast rut dates guide so they know when to use it.
9. Outdoor Edge RazorEDC Lite knife, $34.99
Replaceable-blade knives have taken over a lot of hunting packs because a sharp edge is always one blade swap away. The Outdoor Edge RazorEDC Lite has a 3.5-inch blade and folds small enough for a pocket.
10. Hunter Safety System Reflective Lifeline, $39.99
This is the gift that says you want them home for supper. A lifeline keeps a tree stand hunter clipped in while climbing up and down, which is when many stand falls happen. The HSS Reflective Lifeline has reflective strands that are easy to find with a headlamp. It works with a full-body harness, so check that they already wear one.
11. The MeatEater Outdoor Cookbook, $38
For the hunter who also does the cooking at camp. Steven Rinella's MeatEater Outdoor Cookbook focuses on cooking over fire and on the grill, which is how most of us cook venison at camp anyway.
Gifts That Give Back
12. A conservation membership, $35
For the hunter who truly has everything, pay for a year of membership with a group that puts money back into habitat. The National Wild Turkey Federation offers an annual membership for $35, Ducks Unlimited starts adult memberships at a $35 donation (and youth memberships at $15), and the National Deer Association premium membership is $35. Each one includes the group's magazine, so it's a gift that shows up all year.
