Faith in the Field: 30-Day Devotional for Hunters (PDF)

What is Faith in the Field?

Faith in the Field is a 30-day devotional written for hunters by Brad Gratton, a first responder and the founder of Hunt One More. Each day has a short Bible verse, a plain-English reflection, a question for the day, space to write and a short prayer.

How long does each day take?

About five to ten minutes. Each reading is short enough to finish in the stand before daylight, in the blind between flights or in the truck on the drive home.

Which Bible translation does it use?

Every verse is from the New International Version (NIV), so the Scripture reads in clear, everyday English.

How is the devotional organized?

It is 30 days split into four weeks: Be Still, Strength for the Hunt, Called and Sharpened, and Finish Well. It also includes a welcome from Brad, a how-to page, a closing page and a Prayer List & Notes page.

Can I type my notes right into the PDF?

Yes. The writing lines on each day, the closing page and the Prayer List & Notes page are fillable. Tap a line to type in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Books, Preview or Files, or most phone PDF apps, then save the file. Some web-browser PDF viewers may not save what you type, so open it in a PDF app for best results.

Can I print it?

Yes. All 41 pages print on standard 8.5x11 letter paper at home, so you can write in it by hand or keep a copy in your pack.

Can I use it on my phone in the stand?

Yes. Save the PDF to your phone or tablet and open it anytime, even without a signal. Every page also links back to huntonemore.com.

Do I need to be a strong believer or know the Bible to use it?

No. It is written for any hunter, whether you have walked with God for years or are just starting to ask questions. Each day explains the verse in plain language with real moments from the field.

Is it good for hunting with my kids or a group?

It works well for a father and son, a hunting camp or a small group. Read the day together before the hunt and talk through the question on the drive home.

How do I get my devotional after I buy?

It is an instant download. Right after checkout you get an email from Hunt One More with your download link, and a download button also shows on your order confirmation page. Nothing ships.

Does it make a good gift for a hunter?

It does. It makes an easy stocking stuffer or add-on to a Hunt One More shirt, hoodie or gift card. Buy it, then forward the download email or print it for the hunter in your life.

I can't find my download email. What should I do?
